Meet 21 Year Old First Class Student From Babcock Who Runs a Thriving Catering Startup in Lagos, Nigeria.

They say First Class students are usually book smart, quiet, quaint and melancholic in nature. Perhaps this is due to the many long hours of study which deprives them of the ability to socialize and mix up with the rest of the society.

This is not the case for Adetomiwa Ogunbote the vivacious, fashion savvy First Class graduate of History and International Studies at Babcock University, Illishan Remo in Ogun State, and Lead Chef at Miwas Cuisine, a startup in the Food Service Industry catering for the culinary needs of many in Lagos.

As Babcock University holds its 18th Convocation Ceremonies virtually, due to the Coronavirus pandemic, Tomiwa will receive the First Class Honours Degree Award alongside another student in her department as the only two students in her class to so receive such honours.

When Tomiwa is not cooking, she is traveling across the globe, attending Model United Nations Conferences and Advocating for the Sustainable Development Goals, SDGs. While she has passion for cooking and the culinary arts, Tomiwa aspires to become a Diplomat, serving Nigeria at the United Nations.

When asked about her guiding philosophy, she said " It is my mission to live a life of honesty, integrity, and unconditional love.  To never lose sight of what is the most important.  To love each day with courage, compassion, and curiosity.

She says her life ambition is to become a better version of herself each day and Inspiring others in her path to do the same

She charged all to live life with integrity and empathy and to be a positive force in the life of others."

Congratulations to the First Class Chef.
