"If you are
not having fun, you are doing something wrong"I find these words of Groucho
Marx quite true
especially in our contemporary times when people do things not for themselves but because others are doing it; the need to belong and survive.
especially in our contemporary times when people do things not for themselves but because others are doing it; the need to belong and survive.
Life was created
for us to be happy and transfer that happiness to others. Happiness is not a
one off jolt to the realm of excitement; it is a feeling of joy and
satisfaction that empowers the soul within to stay alive. Fun is not absolute but
relative, what makes A happy isn't what makes B happy, so find your #Fun
They say life is
all about the pursuit of happiness, hence, I say you shouldn't be caught in the
sprints of frustrations, anger, bitterness, regrets and disappointments.
Rather, enroll in the marathon of bliss, joy, peace, fulfillment, contentment,
all attributes of happiness.
So whether in
business, work place, ministry, community development, Volunteering, etc. be
sure you are doing something right by being Happy. Carve your niche, stay true
to that pursuit, be happy, have fun, share the fun and always, always be happy!
Many times, we
misunderstand Jesus' words when he said "it is easier for a camel to pass
through the eyes of a needle than for a rich man to enter the Kingdom of
God". Having such thought and even believing that it is not God's wish for
us to be wealthy is quite unhealthy.
What God frowns at
is corruption, greed, stinginess, inequality, mindless acquisition of riches -
ingredients for a soul gone astray. Who says you can't be Righteous and Rich?
God is still in the business of blessing people and making them successful! So
believe and be blessed that you may bless others.
"In
simplicity, charity I follow. In simplicity, charity I follow. Like the
sunflower that follows every movement of the Sun, so I turn to you, to follow
you, my Lord
".
These words are a
reminder to us of the vanity in mindless acquisitions. Why acquire so much and
promote waste when you can share and help others live well? Charity covers a
multitude of sin so says sacred Scriptures. Jesus possessed nothing yet owned
all. He owned His Father’s love.
We too can own our
Father’s love, when we show love, when we are simple in our ways, when we say
yes to follow Jesus. Saying yes equals loving our neigbhiurs.
Don't give in to
the tendencies of negatively accumulating wealth, for what does it profit a man
if he gains the whole world and loses his soul.
Dream! Define! Do!
Remember "Ọlọ́run tó ńsebẹ̀, ò kúrò ní ìdí
ààrò"-- God who is cooking the soup, has not left the kitchen. [Never
give up!]. Again, you can be Godly and wealthy!
